Do You Need Visa to Visit UAE?

UAE Visa on Arrival
You will be happy to know that you don’t need to apply for a visa to the UAE before travel if you are a passport holder from any country below. The only thing you must do is take your passport for stamping once you disembark from your flight at the airport. Note that your passport will be stamped with 30-day visit eligibility free of charge.

90-Day Visit Eligibility
Passport holders from other European countries like Argentina, Denmark, Poland, Sweden, Uruguay, and more are eligible for a UAE visa on arrival. However, they will be issued a 90-Day visit visa that will remain valid for six months after issue. After visiting UAE, the visa will be eligible for 90 days. Please note that you will have to apply for a visa before traveling once you utilize your 90-day visa. Legitimate passport holders from Mexico are eligible for a 180-day visit visa valid for six months after issue.
UAE Diplomatic or Service Passport Eligibility
Citizens from countries like Chad, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Algeria, Morocco, Rwanda, and more with a diplomatic or service passport are also eligible for a UAE visa on arrival.
Pre-Arranged UAE Visas
If you are not eligible for any of the above UAE visa categories, you will have to get your visa before traveling. That means citizens from Kenya and most African countries have to apply for a visa to the UAE in advance.
UAE Visa Requirements
You have various visa options, including a 48-hour visa, 96-hour visa, tourist visa, or transit visa. A 48-hour visa is valid for two days after the scheduled time of entry to UAE, while a 96-hour visa is valid for four days after the arrival date. UAE tourist visas are classified as a single short-term entry, short-term multiple entry, long-term short entry, and long-term multiple entry. Short-term single-entry visas are eligible 30 days from the scheduled arrival, while tourist short-term multiple entry visas are valid 30 days after the first entry. Similarly, UAE tourist-long-term single-entry visas are eligible for 90 days from the scheduled arrival date.

- Health declaration form. Download the form here, print it, and fill in block capital letters.
- Color photograph.
- Your passport.
- Original application form.
- Copy of the Emirates ticket.
- National ID card.

- A copy of the Flight ticket
- Sponsor details where necessary
